Maltepe University Journal of Faculty of Communication Publication Submission Guidelines

1) The journal includes original and review articles with an interdisciplinary approach, as well as topics related to communication science.

2) All manuscripts are reviewed by the Editor in terms of aim and scope. Due to double-blind-review protocols, the name(s) of the author(s) included in the manuscript and electronic file are hidden and sent to reviewers.

3) If one of the reviewers' reports is "major revision" and the other is "minor revision" or "accepted", a third reviewer is appointed. Revisions are re-evaluated by the Editor and the Editorial Board.

4) The language of the articles is in Turkish and English.

5) Manuscripts sent to the journal for publication should not have been published in another publication or under review for publication.

6) The final decision regarding the publication of articles belongs to the Editorial Board. Editorial Board's evaluation of the article is sent to the author(s) as soon as possible with the review reports.

7) All responsibility of the articles belongs to the author(s).

8) The copyright of the articles approved for publication by the Editorial Board belongs to Maltepe University Journal of the Faculty of Communication, they cannot be published elsewhere. No royalty fee is paid to the author(s).

9) Author(s) approve that their manuscripts are included in non-commercial electronic databases in full text in order to support national and international academic information sharing.

10) The Turnitin program is used to measure the similarity index of the studies submitted to the journal.




Formatting your article

Preferred formats for the text and tables of your manuscript are Word DOC, RTF, XLS. LaTeX files are also accepted. The text should be double-spaced throughout and with a minimum of 3cm for left and right-hand margins and 5cm at head and foot. Text should be standard 10 or 12 point.

ILED adheres to the APA 6th reference style.
